City brings back Imperial Garden and new sushi bar

The Huntsville area gained two new Asian style restaurants this summer, giving students an opportunity to broaden their taste buds with international cuisine from the Asian continent. Chinese restaurant Imperial Garden, located on I-45 in between El Chico and Whataburger, offers customers an array of Chinese specialties buffet style.

Two parking lots short
The university can expect to lose three parking lots this upcoming year when building plans called for lots instead of land for the location of new buildings. The faculty lot in between the Frels-Wilson Complex, the faculty lot north of the Vick house and a lot that may become the location of a new Performing Arts Building will be discarded due to new construction projects as early as November according to the Director of Public Relations, Frank Krystyniak.

HKC teaches students weekly how to master the wall
For students interested in hanging four stories off the ground by a rope, the SHSU Outdoor Recreation Program plans on playing host to a series of rock climbing technique clinics this semester at the Health and Kinesiology Center. When the rock wall opened in the spring of 2006, over 1,000 students took the challenge in February alone.
