To have, or not to have?

Heath Wierck shares his experiences in "people watching" and how it made him question the idea of having children.
One of the things I like to do is people watch. I find it very intriguing what you can witness while sitting idly by, merely observing people as they pass. And just to clarify, making it distinctly clear, I'm not some weirdo who likes to watch and spy on people.

What are friends for?

Meagan Ducic talks about the quality of friendships.
The average person can make many mindless assumptions. One that is particularly prevalent is the assumption that everyone needs to have friends. This is untrue. For example, too often people find themselves in situations where they feel the desire to collect outside opinions.
